| About Myself: My talent for photography basically evolved from my enjoyment of nature.
For many years I repeatedly went through phases of dealing with photography until I
purchased a good SLR camera. My experiences of the first few years were made using the
Olympus OM2 system (secretly dreaming of a large Nikon...).
A while ago I fulfilled my wish to have a faster camera and decided on the
Canon EOS3, which was brand new at the time. It reliably passed the first endurance test
of 5 weeks in the Australian bush.
My personal style includes clear photographs with lots of depth. I like
image-filling animal portraits taken in the open countryside, which often requires a lot
of patience, physical effort and research. My speciality is taking photographs of exotic
bird species. My desire to observe animals is greater than that of catching them on film
at any price. |
