When I was sixteen I saved up for my first "proper" camera. At the time my mother ran a small photographic shop. For the past nearly 15 years I have been taking photographs of everything I enjoy, mostly in connection with long trips to remote areas. I am fascinated by unusual landscapes and atmospheric images.

My favourite subjects also include animals and their typical behaviour, especially birds - preferably in their natural habitat.

Since my first AE-1 I have put my complete trust in Canon equipment. These days I mainly use the EOS-3.

My personal style includes unusual frames as well as impressionistic photographs. I like the slightly unusual. I place special emphasis on correct and disciplined behaviour outdoors and when dealing with foreign cultures.
